A professional cowboy, Randy has lived the cowboy-life he sings about.  Roundups, brandings, cattle drives, broncs, & rodeos have been his livelihood.
At the early age of 14, Randy left his home in Viking, Alberta to work as a wrangler for numerous cattle ranches in Alberta.  It wasn't very long before he mastered the art of breaking an ornery bronc and his newfound skills soon led him into new directions.

As a bull rider, Randy joined the Canadian Rodeo Cowboy Association in 1972.  He made his living competing in this rugged sport, travelling the rodeo circuit throughout western Canada & northwest USA.  To keep in shape during the winter months, he became a member of a boxing club - fighting in 4 different weight classes.  Randy spent 9 years in rodeo and boxing.
As a horseman, Randy's focus turned to the draft horse industry.  A seasoned horseman, blacksmith and farrier, Randy specializes in shoeing, training, and showing draft horses.  Randy has won countless awards for showing & parading his black Percheron teams & hitches.

Presently, Randy focuses his time on his music and entertaining. Randy, a gospel and country singer, has always been a great fan of Wilf Carter.  He's been singing and yodelling Wilf's songs since before school age.  Throughout the years, Randy has entertained large and small crowds at concerts, festivals, rodeos, parades, and other special events.  You may even catch him entertaining at the campfire on a wagon-train event!
